Calendar monitoring shows the events stored on the device β€” titles, times, locations, attendees and reminders β€” so you can see commitments the way the device itself sees them.

    What calendar monitoring captures

    • Event titles, descriptions and notes
    • Start and end times, including recurring events
    • Locations and meeting links attached to an event
    • Attendee and invitee names where the calendar stores them
    • Reminders and alert settings
    • Which calendar account an event belongs to (local, Google, Exchange)

How it works on each platform

On Android, the app reads the calendar provider after you grant calendar permission during installation, and re-syncs on the normal upload schedule. On Windows and macOS, it reads the local calendar store the signed-in account uses. Events you create on the device appear in the dashboard; events created elsewhere appear once the device syncs that account.

Because the app reads what the device has stored, a calendar that has never been opened on the device may not have local data yet. Opening the calendar app once and letting it sync fixes that.

    What it is useful for

For parents, the calendar is often the most useful signal in the dashboard: it shows after-school practices, tutoring sessions, parties and appointments that a child may not mention at home, and lets you check whether the plan matches the location history. For company devices, it helps confirm that a meeting-heavy day matches the reported activity.

It is not a location tracker and not a message reader. If an event only exists inside a chat thread and never reaches the calendar, it will not appear here.

    Privacy and limits

Calendar data is as sensitive as any other category, so it is covered by the same consent rules: this feature is for a minor child's device or a device you own or issue with notice. Shared calendars can reveal other people's information β€” an invitation you can see may include details about someone who never agreed to be monitored. Treat that carefully and do not republish what you see.

    Frequently asked questions

Does it show Google Calendar events?

Yes, once the Google account is synced on the device β€” the app reads the calendar data the device stores locally.

How often does the calendar update?

On the normal upload schedule, typically every few minutes to every few hours depending on the device and connection. Opening the calendar app on the device forces a refresh.

Can it create or edit events?

No. Calendar monitoring is read-only. It never modifies, deletes or sends anything on the device.

    Why is the calendar empty?

Calendar permission was not granted, or the device has no local calendar data. Check the permission in the dashboard device details, then open the calendar app on the phone once.
