An online dashboard can show messages only after the child’s authorized device or account has been configured. It cannot lawfully retrieve someone’s texts from a phone number alone. Initial physical access, account verification, permissions, or a desktop synchronization step may be required.
On iPhone, Apple’s restrictions and the chosen setup method can limit which messages appear and how quickly they update. On Android, broader permissions may be available, but battery settings, app permissions, and manufacturer restrictions still matter. Confirm the exact device and operating-system version before purchasing.
