mSpy does not publish one price, and anyone quoting a single number is guessing. Its plans are priced per region, per billing cycle, and change with promotions, so the only figure that matters is the one on the checkout page for your country on the day you buy.
Full disclosure: we build Ultimate Phone Spy, a parental-control app for exactly this β web history, app activity and screen time in one dashboard. Plans start at $16/month on the 12-month option, and the current plans are on our pricing page.
How mSpy's pricing is structured
- A monthly plan is the most expensive per month β historically in the high double digits depending on the market.
- Quarterly and annual plans cut the effective monthly rate substantially, which is why the annual figure is the one advertised.
- Add-ons are billed separately. Call interception, keylogger and some social-media monitoring have been sold as extras rather than included, and the total at checkout is often higher than the headline.
- The renewal price is the real price. Introductory rates commonly renew at the standard rate, so check the renewal terms before committing to a year.
- Currency and taxes vary. EU and UK buyers see VAT-inclusive pricing; US buyers generally do not.
How to compare without being fooled
Put every option on the same basis: total cost for twelve months, including add-ons and taxes, divided by twelve. Then ask what is actually delivered for that money on the platform you own. A cheap annual plan that requires a jailbreak is worth less than a mid-priced one that works on a stock iPhone.
For reference, our 12-month plan works out to $16/month and includes web history, app activity, screen time and location in one dashboard, with no jailbreak required. Whether that is better value than mSpy depends on which features you will actually use β their strength is breadth of social-media coverage, ours is a single clean dashboard and transparent pricing.
One caution that applies to every vendor in this category: a lifetime licence sold by a reseller is usually a rebranded subscription that stops working when the reseller disappears.
