I am looking for legitimate advice on how to install mspy remotely for authorized monitoring purposes, like keeping an eye on my own family's devices. I have seen the Ultimate Phone Spy App mentioned in a few places, but I am not sure if it actually provides this level of access. Has anyone here successfully used this app or a similar tool?

There is no remote install — not for mSpy, not for any monitoring product, and the reason is boring: both iOS and Android require an explicit on-device step to grant the permissions these tools use. Anything advertising a "remote install with just a phone number" is either credential phishing or selling nothing.
How installation actually works on Android: you need physical access to the device for a few minutes. Enable install from unknown sources, install the APK or Play Store build, sign in with the license, grant the permissions the product needs (SMS, contacts, location, accessibility for some features), then hide or keep the icon depending on the product. Root is required for WhatsApp and some social apps on most products; basic SMS, calls and location do not need it.
How it works on iOS: you do not install an app at all. iOS monitoring is account-based — you supply the Apple Account credentials and the tool reads iCloud backups. That means it only works if two-factor authentication is handled (the tool needs the code at setup), and it never gives you live messages, only what is in the backup.
Why "remote install" services are a red flag: the ones that take payment and ask for a phone number cannot deliver, and the ones that ask for an Apple Account or Google password are credential theft. If a device is enrolled in MDM by a real employer, that is the only genuine silent deployment path — and it requires ownership of the device fleet.
If you are setting up your own family's devices, the honest sequence for Ultimate Phone Spy is the same: one-time physical install on Android, browser dashboard afterwards, and account-based monitoring is not offered because iOS does not permit it (installation guide, system requirements). Budget five to ten minutes per Android device, and expect to disable battery optimization or the phone will stop reporting after a day.
