    How to see someones texts?

I need some advice on how to see someones texts reliably, and I am hoping this group can point me in the right direction. I have seen the Ultimate Phone Spy App advertised as a potential solution, but I am wary of scams and want to know if it actually works as promised?

You cannot see another person's texts from your own phone — there is no remote access to SMS. What exists is an app installed on the target Android device that forwards the message store to a dashboard. On iPhone, no such thing exists at all without the Apple ID and an iCloud backup.

    The three real scenarios:

    1. Your child's Android phone, with their knowledge — install a monitoring app, grant SMS permission, and threads appear in a web dashboard. Legal for a minor in your care in most jurisdictions; disclosure is what keeps it legal and keeps the trust.
    2. Your child's iPhone — nothing reads SMS. Screen Time limits contacts during downtime, and if the family shares one Apple ID the messages sync naturally to your devices.
    3. An adult — reading their texts without consent is a criminal offence in the EU and most US states, even if you pay the bill. The carrier can show numbers and timestamps on the bill; it will not show content, and it will not give it to you on request.

What is a scam: "text spy" sites that take a phone number, apps that promise to read SMS from a number alone, and anything asking you to install a "verification" profile on an iPhone.

Where our app fits. Ultimate Phone Spy runs on Android 4.0+, Windows and macOS (supported devices) and reads SMS/MMS, call logs, social notifications and location for an Android device you administer. If the phone is an iPhone, we are the wrong product and I would rather say so.
