I am currently researching umobix app and trying to figure out if it’s actually a legitimate and worthwhile investment. I keep seeing the Ultimate Phone Spy App mentioned as a reliable alternative, but I am hesitant to spend money without real user feedback?

uMobix is a competent Android monitoring app and a mediocre iPhone one, priced in the middle of the market. Buy it for an Android phone you can hold for ten minutes; do not buy it expecting iPhone WhatsApp, because that needs a jailbreak and the vendor says so only in the fine print.
Strengths, from use rather than marketing: fast dashboard, reliable SMS and call logs, social-app capture on Android that includes Snapchat and TikTok notifications, a keylogger that works on unrooted Android in many builds, and location with a decent history view. Installation is straightforward and the licence is per device.
Weaknesses: iPhone coverage is backup-based and laggy; the refund window is short and support can be slow to honour it; there is no free trial despite what affiliate sites say; and the screen recorder is an extra purchase, not part of the base plan.
Legal reality, which applies to all of these: monitoring an adult's phone without consent is a criminal offence in the EU and most US states. A parent monitoring a minor in their care is the one relationship where this is normally lawful, and even then, disclosure is what keeps it defensible if it ever comes up.
