You cannot recover a deleted Discord message from the app. Deletion removes it from Discord's servers within minutes, and the only traces are things that copied it before it went: notification previews, a bot with logging enabled, or an export you already made.
What genuinely works:
- Notification history — Android: Settings → Notifications → Notification history, where a preview can sit for up to a day. iOS keeps no such log.
- Server logging bots — a bot with the message-content intent logs every message to a channel or database. The catch: it must have been running before the message was deleted, and it only sees servers where it is installed.
- Discord's data package — Settings → Privacy & Safety → Request all of my data. Returns your own messages, including ones you deleted, for a limited window; never someone else's.
- Moderator audit log — server admins see who deleted what and when, not the content.
What does not work: "Discord deleted message recovery" sites, self-bots (a ban risk), and modified clients. Message content is not cached locally in any recoverable form.
For a parent: Discord's Family Center shows servers joined, friends added and who your teen has messaged recently — not message content, which is by design.
Where our app fits. Ultimate Phone Spy runs on Android 4.0+, Windows and macOS and captures Discord notifications on the device (social media monitoring), giving a record of what arrived before deletion. It cannot restore what was never captured, and it does not run on iPhone.
