    How to refresh life 360?

I need some advice on how to refresh life 360 reliably, and I am hoping this group can point me in the right direction. I have seen the Ultimate Phone Spy App advertised as a potential solution, but I am wary of scams and want to know if it actually works as promised?

To force a fresh location in Life360: open the app, go to the Circle map, and pull down on the screen. That triggers a new GPS request from every member instead of showing the cached last-known position. If the pin still will not move, the problem is permission or battery, not the refresh.

The reliable sequence when a member is stuck:

    1. Pull to refresh on the map.
    2. Tap the member's bubble → their detail card shows "last updated" time. Minutes-old is cache; hours-old is a dead connection.
    3. On their phone, open Life360 once and leave it on screen for 20 seconds — background updates resume as soon as the app is foregrounded.
    4. Check Settings → Location → Life360 → Always, and Background App Refresh / battery unrestricted.
    5. Turn off low-power mode. On iPhone, Low Power Mode suspends background location within minutes.
    6. Update the app. Old builds lose connection to Life360's location service silently.

If one member never updates while others do, the issue is that device — usually a phone that has been force-closed or a child who paused sharing from the app. A paused member still appears on the map, greyed out, which is why it reads as a failed refresh.

Where our app fits. Ultimate Phone Spy (Android 4.0+, Windows, macOS) records positions with timestamps, so a gap is visible instead of an unchanged pin (location tracking). On iOS we cannot run, so the checklist above is what you have.
