The clean way to follow a daughter's iPhone is Apple's own Family Sharing: add her Apple ID to your family group, turn on Location Sharing in Find My, and you get a live pin plus arrival and departure alerts for school and home — free, no third-party app, and it survives updates.
Setup, in order:
- On her iPhone: Settings → [her name] → Family → add your Apple ID (or accept your invite).
- Settings → [her name] → Find My → Share My Location → on, "This Device".
- In your Find My app: People → her name → she appears on the map, with directions, play sound, and notifications for arrival/leave.
- If she is under 13, her Apple ID should be a Child Account in your family group — that also gives you Screen Time, purchase approval and Communication Limits.
What it will not do: read her messages, see her photos, or show where she was last week. Apple deliberately gives parents location and limits, not content.
If she is 14+ and refuses sharing, you have a parenting problem, not a technical one. Installing a hidden tracker on a teen's phone without consent is unauthorised access in most jurisdictions and usually ends with the phone wiped or the trust gone.
Where our app fits. Ultimate Phone Spy runs on Android 4.0+, Windows and macOS (location tracking); there is no iPhone version, because iOS does not allow it. If her phone is an iPhone, Find My plus Screen Time is the whole answer and costs nothing.
